HooperCast Episode 17.5

Hello everyone!
Sorry, I've been a stranger lately.
I've been busy with my life, and I had some spare time last night to chat with
Dustin about film stuff, so we thought we'd record a little something to tide you over until
Episode 18 pops. Pops right outta there. Like a baby.
So here's an episode about Batman movies, The Hobbit, and frankly a lot of impressive non sequiturs
that end up keeping us on track.
Very funny throughout. But I'm biased. But I'm also right.

17:13 - Our thoughts on the negative CinemaCon reaction to "The Hobbit", frame rates for movies and television, and why no one should be worried about the quality of the film. Also, the evolution of technology.
27:20 - "5 second impressions"
29:37 - How does Rick Baker design hundreds of aliens??
30:15 - Having fun with Dustin's microphone malfunction
31:45 - Why "turn it off, turn it back on" almost always works.

So this was a relatively mellow episode. Dustin and I talk about John Carter's box office performance, WalMart's disc-to-digital service, the fact that the world is slowly and systematically phasing out physical media, and what order you should watch the Star Wars movies in, and why.
